September 9, 2020

Probably coming as no surprise, we are regrettably abandoning the 2020 KPMG Tortola Torture and now focusing on 2021. November is too close, and covid-life in the BVI, and the world, still too uncertain. The 2021 event, to be held on April 17, will now be the second in our FU series. We hope that the FU Covid edition will be as successful as the FU Irma edition in 2018!

We are optimistic that by April 2021 BVI borders will be open for visitors, and on-the-spot testing will be fully reliable and available, so that we can easily ensure all our competitors and volunteers are covid-free.

We will be rolling over all entries to the 2021 event. Teams will be able replace team members if necessary.

If we really have to, we will refund entry fees, but we’d rather not! Because the covid crisis happened so close to this year’s event, we incurred a substantial portion of the costs that would have been covered by holding the 2020 event. Now, these costs need to absorbed by the 2021 event.

We ask for your support, but if you do want a refund drop us an email. 75% of the entry fee will be refunded but that does not include the ultrasignup processing fee.

We look forward to seeing you all in 2021 at the FU Covid edition, and hope this gives you plenty of time for some socially distanced training!
