With only eight days to go until race day for the second KPMG Tortola Torture, anticipation is mounting for what is shaping up to be an exciting and fast-paced race. Joining us for the this year’s event are three notable ultrarunners.

With just over a month to go until the 2016 Torture, registrations are steadily mounting. A total of 54 people have registered to date: a combination of 18 individual entrants, six 2-person, and eight 3-person teams.
Professional ultrarunner, Eric Senseman, will be running the Torture for the first time on behalf of the prestigious SCOTT Running team and is expected to set a fast pace and a new course record.

Eric Senseman, acclaimed ultrarunner, writer, journalist and avid traveller, will be participating in the KPMG Tortola Torture on April 16, 2016. Eric is a professional runner who races as a member of the elite Scott Running Team.

BVI runners were out in force at the 8 Tuff Miles event in St John this past weekend.
Newcomer Vincent Fournier came 12th out of 519 men and third in his age group recording a sub-hour time of 58:31. Katrina Crumpler rocked it, placing 4th out of 637 women and third place in her age group with a time of 1:06:30.
