Pro runner with SCOTT, Eric Senseman, set the new benchmark time of 04:45:05 in the second annual KPMG Tortola Torture with a new course that added two miles and 500 feet of climbing to last year’s. He joined 84 runners on the 33.74 mile course including 28 other individuals.

Registrations So Far

With just over a month to go until the 2016 Torture, registrations are steadily mounting. A total of 54 people have registered to date: a combination of 18 individual entrants, six 2-person, and eight 3-person teams.

Professional ultrarunner, Eric Senseman, will be running the Torture for the first time on behalf of the prestigious SCOTT Running team and is expected to set a fast pace and a new course record.

The KPMG Tortola Torture 2016

The KPMG Tortola Torture, a 33.4 mile ultramarathon, will take place in the British Virgin Islands on April 16, 2016. In its second year, the event’s course on this mountainous Caribbean island is 33.4 miles with 6,587 feet of climbing over 12.8 miles, and 13.1 miles of descending. There will only be 7.5 miles of flat running for the entire course.
